The Ravljen Method

A warmer, more thoughtful way to learn music

Founded by Tanya Ravljen, The Ravljen Method grew from years of specialist singing teaching, performance experience and a belief that music lessons should be warm, structured and deeply personal to each child.

Today, TRM brings that standard to singing, piano, instrumental tuition, exam preparation and student development across London and online.

Founder-led standards

Created from specialist teaching, performance and care

Tanya Ravljen is a professional singer and educator, known as the Slovene voice of Anna in Disney’s Frozen and Frozen 2. Her experience as a performer and specialist singing teacher shaped the standards behind TRM.

The Ravljen Method is built around more than technical instruction. It is about helping students feel safe, understood and musically inspired while developing real skill, confidence and expressive ability.

01

Warm teaching

Students learn best when they feel encouraged, respected and supported by the right teacher.

02

Structured progress

Lessons are guided by musical goals, age-appropriate development and clear next steps.

03

High standards

TRM keeps a premium standard across tutor matching, lesson quality, communication and student development.

Carefully selected tutors

The right teacher matters

A brilliant musician is not always the right teacher for a child. TRM tutors are chosen not only for musical ability, but for warmth, professionalism, reliability and the ability to teach with patience, structure and care.

Musical skill

Tutors are selected for their musical knowledge, experience and ability to support real progress.

Teaching ability

We look for teachers who can explain clearly, adapt to each student and build confidence over time.

Child-focused approach

Students need patience, warmth and the right balance of encouragement and structure.

Professional reliability

Families need tutors who communicate clearly, arrive prepared and understand the importance of consistency.

Thoughtful matching

Every recommendation considers the student’s age, personality, level, goals, location and learning style.

Managed support

TRM supports the wider lesson journey, from first enquiry to exams, concerts and musical milestones.

What the method is built on

Confidence, structure and musical expression

The Ravljen Method gives students a calm, purposeful learning experience that supports both musical development and personal confidence.

01

Confidence first

Children learn best when they feel safe, encouraged and understood. Confidence is built carefully, one lesson at a time.

02

Structure and progress

Lessons are guided by clear musical goals, thoughtful progression and realistic practice expectations.

03

Musical expression

Students are encouraged to develop not only technique, but communication, phrasing and expressive performance.

More than a tutor list

A managed, premium music tuition experience

TRM is not a marketplace where families are left to choose from a long list of tutors. We provide a carefully managed music tuition experience, with thoughtful guidance from the first enquiry onwards.

Each tutor recommendation is considered with care, and families are supported through lesson planning, communication, exam preparation, concerts and the wider musical development of the student.

01

Guided from enquiry

Families can share their child’s age, level, personality and goals so we can advise on the right next step.

02

Matched with care

The right match is about more than instrument and location. It is about teaching style, temperament and trust.

03

Supported beyond lessons

TRM can support exams, concerts, performance opportunities, online study and long-term musical growth.
